De volta à casa mãe / Back to origins

Time to be painted... One of the most crucial steps of the whole process and one that will have a significant effect on the end result and its longevity.
It was an easy choice, I decided to take the car to Mercentro (Mercedes-Benz, Aveiro). Everyone was amazed on how well they painted the car and, honestly, the final result was better than expected. Who could imagine that the painting team would spend 224 hours on the car!!!
Thank you to everyone in Mercentro who helped in this process, particularly to Carlos Cunha and to the painting team!
Have a look at the pictures and compare them with when we first bought the car...

O chapeiro / Body work

After dismantling the car, it travelled 80km for the body work. We had a few unexpected nasty surprises that made the process longer than expected... but nothing that Angelo couldn’t handle.
He did the work at night and on weekends, but as it was winter it took a long time.

But it’s finally ready, here are a few photos
